Soooo I've found that if I go out of my comfort zone musically, fun things happen. I sang with a wonderful auditioned choir for 12 years (I was so nervous to audition you have no idea), getting to sing backup for artists including Sass Jordan, Ellis Hall and Derek Sharp, singing at venues including Carnegie Hall and fun private events in Arizona. I've been welcomed into a seven piece rock band (the day one audition is on our last album) who are now family, I've gotten to sing with some wonderful people (recorded backing vocals on some pop, folk, punk, and some live backing vocals on country and jazz) and now I've had the pleasure of singing on Bad Bad Joel's latest single “Burning Building”. Joel was delightful to work with, he had a very specific vision and was great and respectful in communicating that clearly and concisely, and I'm really impressed with his final result! All because I went out of my way to network with strangers at Break Out West in 2025 and happened to meet Joel, and we bonded immediately over our appreciation of Above And Beyond.
